Figuring out the opportunity and competition landscape was easy. The challenge was getting content to be written. The Cisco Unified Communication space is very technical and we found that writing content wasn’t as easy as we originally thought it would be. The SEO foundation was broken with a bad technical site, slow pages, poor off-page strategy, no targeted pages for keywords, and no content strategy.
Strategy Interactive helped the Akkadian Labs team identify their SEO weaknesses through keyword research, competitor analysis, and a technical audit. Through keyword research, we were able to create content briefs to be written targeting low-hanging fruit keywords.
Backlinks was another weakness of Akkadian Labs compared to the competition. We helped them build a backlink acquisition plan to increase the Domain’s Authority so that we start competing for some important keywords within Search Engine Result Pages.
We were able to increase backlinks by almost 300% since we started. This helped us rank for high-valuable key terms within Google.
